Susan is a global executive with deep expertise in business & sales strategy, people management, organizational design and process improvement. Most recently, she has led the Public Sector sales strategy and team as the Vice President of Sales at TELUS Health in Toronto.
Previously, Susan played a critical role inside a Canadian HealthTech startup as the organization undertook the challenges of developing a sustainable growth strategy to attract investment partners. Here she was responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing including the redesign of the organization’s critical business processes. Susan gained many of the skills that have contributed to her success from her 17 year career at IBM where she traversed the business and gained leadership experience across all of the core functional areas of the company.
Susan sits on a number of Advisory Boards for early stage technology companies in an effort to help entrepreneurs develop growth strategies for their businesses that will attract investors and partners. She also dedicates time to mentoring the next generation of women leaders across the technology and telecommunications sectors.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph which she augmented with an international business term at the London School of Economics. As a life-long learner, Susan has embraced every development opportunity to grow her academic knowledge base including a number of executive leadership courses from the Harvard School of Business and her Lean Healthcare certification from Belmont University.
Susan is a wife and proud mother of two kids; Cameron is an active 14 year old navigating his first year in high school and Kaitlyn is an inspiring gymnast at the age of 11.
No matter which hat she’s wearing, her goal is simple — to empower individuals, teams, organizations and thought leaders to differentiate themselves and drive measurable results through effective strategy & business process.
