Loredana Regep, M.D. works as VP Medical and Regulatory Affairs for Roche Canada since January 2019. She is a member of the Canadian Network Enabling Team (CNET) at Roche (formerly known as the leadership team) and has been deeply involved in driving the agile transformation of the affiliate, creating the new mindset and culture to support the transformation and in particular fostering and environment of bold thinking and out of the box ideas.
Before joining Roche Canada, over the last 6 years she held the positions of Country Medical Director for Roche Czech Republic and Roche Norway respectively.
Between 2010-2013 Loredana worked as International Medical Leader at Roche Basel (Global Medical Affairs), focusing on developing and implementing global medical strategies and initiatives for a number of products in the Roche portfolio.
Loredana studied medicine at Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania and obtained her medical degree at Carol Davila University, Bucharest. After having worked as a physician at the County Hospital, Loredana started early on her career in pharmaceutical industry at Eli Lilly (1999) and moved to Roche in March 2002. Here, Loredana held various positions of increasing responsibility in Virology, starting in Commercial and in 2006, moving to Medical department, where she was in charge of both medical activities and clinical trials.
She holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the University of Basel (2015).
Loredana cares deeply about people, she is very patient-focused, passionate about science, strategy and leadership and has a broad pharma industry perspective and international experience. In her career as medical affairs leader, Loredana was able to build in a short time strong, high-performing and empowered medical affairs teams and create impactful therapeutic area strategies, both in global and affiliate organizations.
