Kerris Hougardy is a member of Colliers International’s senior leadership team and is currently the Acting Vice President of People Services for North America leading a team of 80+ human resources professionals. He permanent role is as the Director, Talent Acquisition for North America. Responsible for coaching and developing a team of 18 talent acquisition specialists she drives industry leading recruitment strategies for the region, with a focus on strategic business partnerships, candidate experience excellence, employment brand championship, diversity & inclusion and continuous process improvement.
Prior to joining Colliers, Kerris was the Director of Talent at Catalyst Paper overseeing their North American Recruitment and Workforce Planning function as well as HR Business Partner to all corporate employees. Kerris is a certified HR practitioner who, since graduating with a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages, has gained over 19 years’ international recruitment experience at mid to senior management level across a number of industry sectors and has worked in senior leadership roles for large international and small boutique recruitment firms, including 5 years running her own niche search and selection business in the UK. Kerris relocated with her family from the UK to Canada in 2011.Back to Event Page
